Everyone remembers a good bike ride. Whether it was with family members, a best friend, or with a group, those days of movement, freedom, and excitement brought a smile to your face. In 2009, one of the projects undertaken by Friends of TSB was to provide very sophisticated adaptive bikes for use in physical therapy and recreation. These bikes gave many TSB students their very first opportunity to ride a bike. The bikes are designed with numerous adjustments features to enable vision impaired and multi-challenged students to experience freedom, mobility, and therapeutic benefits of riding bikes in both TSB Physical Education and Physical Therapy Programs. Thank you to our generous donors for funding this special project.
