The ASCAP Foundation where music grows

The ASCAP Foundation is dedicated to nurturing the music talent of tomorrow, preserving the legacy of the past, and sustaining the creative incentive for today’s creators through a variety of educational, professional, and humanitarian programs and activities, which serve the entire music community.

The Friends of Tennessee School for the Blind organization is very grateful for having been awarded a grant, which was a gift made possible by The ASCAP Foundation in honor of Stevie Wonder. This will provide funding to purchase special music technology equipment for students’ use in the accessible WTSB Studio B setting, a new addition to the Tennessee School for the Blind Music Programs.

What a wonderful experience it has been, for the Friends of Tennessee School for the Blind students to be a part of a “one of a kind” historic event – the 2014 Centennial Awards celebration of the 100th Anniversary of ASCAP.
